Digitalization has the power to transform the way firms and their suppliers collaborate in global supply chains. More and more companies are therefore turning to digital solutions to improve collaboration on reducing the emissions of their value chains.

What opportunities and risks are waiting for them? This is what researchers of the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) at the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam have set out to explore.

At the CHOICE Event #62, Stefanie Kunkel from RIFS will present their results and together with Lara Obst from THE CLIMATE CHOICE answer questions such as: -In what ways do firms perceive digitalization as a facilitator for climate action? -How far is its potential for supply chain decarbonization already realized? -What are concrete examples of successful implementation?
